Animals As Leaders discuss their guitar setup

On February 22, Premier Guitar's Rebecca Dirks was on location in Chicago where she caught up with ANIMALS AS LEADERS guitarists Tosin Abasi and Javier Reyes. In the segment below, the guys discuss their 8-string guitars, the patches they use on their Axe-FX, and why they still incorporate a traditional amp head and cab into their rigs.

ANIMALS AS LEADERS' second full-length album, "Weightless", sold 6,100 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 92 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released in November 2011 via Prosthetic Records, the CD was produced by now-former ANIMALS AS LEADERS drummer Navene Koperweis, and was mixed by guitarist Javier Reyes. The album marked the recording debut of Koperweis and Reyes with ANIMALS AS LEADERS.
