HeavyCon comes to the UK!

HeavyCon is a new three-day event, and the first of its kind – the ultimate rock and metal fan convention right here in the UK. The inaugural event will take place over the September 30 – October 2 2016 in the birthplace of heavy metal – Birmingham, at the world-famous NEC.

HeavyCon is a fan-driven show, similar in format to comic and film conventions, but aimed at lovers of metal and rock music. We’re creating a new platform where artists can connect with their audience and fans can meet their heroes outside of a live performance situation – you’ll also be able to get your hands on exclusive merchandise, music and memorabilia and much more.

The event comprises of four main elements: Exhibition Hall, Signing Hall, HeavyCon Stage and a number of bookable, breakout Heavy Sessions.

Events in the HeavyCon Stage will be spoken word Q&As – HeavyCon is not a music festival and any live music would be the exception, not the norm.

The Exhibition Hall is our marketplace and exhibition space, while The Signing Hall is place for autographs and photos – unlike other fan-driven events fans will not be charged per autograph, instead buying a Gold or Black tickets (limited numbers available) will grant access, along with the other areas of the event.

The HeavySessions will consist of a range of different events, from panel discussions to music masterclasses, bookable on the day you attend.
