HRH PROG 3 announces Rick Wakeman to headline next Spring’s event.

HRH Prog 3 is extremely pleased to welcome Rick Wakeman, the Ex Yes, Strawbs, Bowie, Juniors Eyes, Black Sabbath and all round Keyboard legend to top the bill of our third weekend celebrating the progressive genre.

Rick has guested on over 2000 records for such amazing artists as Marc Bolan, Lou Reed & Donavan and has put out some of the most accomplished solo concept albums by a keys player of all time in Journey to the Centre of the Earth, The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

Aside from this, Rick’s keys can be heard on such classic records as David Bowie’s ‘Life on Mars’ & ‘Space Oddity’ as well as on most peoples favourite Yes albums.

There is too much that can be said about Rick and we are just pleased to be able to have him playing a special assortment of classics at our third event.
