In a brave move and confirming that metal bands are not about the money, L Sol Tace have unleashed this, their debut record by giving it away free to Terrorizer readers.  When I spoke to the band, they stated that it was done this way to simply get the name out there.

The band hail from the UK and are badass to put it simply.  On occasion, the term groove metal can strike horror into me as it can conjure up images of dullness and lazy predictable monotonous music; but not on this occasion.

L Sol Tace has killer innovative grooves, really nice guitar leads and really nice double bass drumming and fills.  The vocals must have come from a throat that has recently had an encounter with battery acid.

The crisp and heavy production accentuates all of the subtle dissonant note nuances and sonically the record sounds amazing. All in all a great record with everything we could look for in it present and correct – innovative grooves, killer leads, blasts, twisted melodies  and psychotic vocals.
