Metallica & Lang Lang To Play Grammys

Metallica will perform along side legendary concert pianist Lang Lang at the renowned 56th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles; the news classical fans have been waiting for!

“This performance will be truly special with Lang Lang, who has appeared on stages all over the world including the opening ceremonies at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, a White House state dinner, World Cup ceremonies, and the Nobel Prize concert in Stockholm among many other acclaimed appearances,” the band commented. “We are also very proud that the Through the Never soundtrack has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Recording Package and we’re hoping for another win for our friends from Turner Duckworth, who also designed the Death Magnetic art and took home the mini gramophone in 2009.”

In short I co-run AATR, regurgitate news and throw an unpretentious opinion on music. Me gusta mi reggae, me gusta punk rock. Pero la cosa que me gusta más es panochita. I thought I wrote this on my ipad but turns out it was an Etch A Sketch. I hate Apple and I don't own an ipad... I'm also out of Vodka.

Have your say....
