7th May 2013 0 By Matt Farrington

Mick Mars, Motley Crue guitarist, says he is "alright" after getting knocked over by a boisterous fan at a show in Spectra Place, Saskatchewan, Canada over the weekend.

Mars tweeted:

"Thank all of you for your concerns about me being knocked down last night,"

"I'm alright; nothing broken. My bodyguard Rhyno got two busted ribs."

The fan stormed the stage during "Primal Scream" in an attempt to reach frontman Vince Neil with Mars being knocked over in the process, eventually the fan was subdued by security. Mars suffers from the medical condition called Ankylosing Spondylitis, and was celebrating his 62nd birthday at the show. He was diagnosed with the condition which slowly fuses his bones together at the age of 19.
