Australia’s #1 progressive metal export, Ne Obliviscaris have launched a forward-thinking new concept, one that could potentially help many bands the world over fill the gap in revenue that has dwindled over the years due to the decline in music sales and other revenue streams that once kept bands on the road. These days those tables have turned and artists need to tour to promote a release. Touring however, does not come cheap as the band go into heavy detail about in their statement below.

Having had one of the most successful music crowd funding campaigns ever via Pozible, NeO fans have proven their willingness to support a band that provides them with so much entertainment and meaning.

In 2014 the band raised over $86 000AUD via their fans, which broke the Australian record for crowd funding and to this day it remains one of the highest netting music campaigns in the world.

With NeO currently finishing up their massive North American tour with Cradle Of Filth, they are looking towards the future and that involves their fans at every conceivable level in a fashion arguably unprecedented in the industry.

It’s the fans that have the power to keep the band on the road and making albums, and now, those same fans have a way to directly ensure this happens via contributions to the Patreon campaign.
