Running Wild – Crossing The Blades

The undisputed kings of Pirate Metal Running Wild release a brand new E.P Crossing The Blades on the 6th December 2019.

3 new tracks and a cover version of Strutter by Kiss (which is a stonker I must say and I’m not a fan of Kiss)

Crossing The Blades, Stargazed and Ride On The Wildside are typical Running Wild. Bombastic riffs, incendiary solos and soaring vocals.

If these tracks are any indication of the direction of the new album (Crossing The Blades) appearing in 2020, it’s going to be well worth the wait since their 2016 album Rapid Foray.

Although it’s only 16 minutes it’s well worth grabbing while you can. Either as a record as it’s a gorgeous shade of Blue and it sounds fantastic, or the CD (which sounds almost as good)

This will appease any fan of heavy metal as well as long time fans of this band as it’s full on, fist pumping anthemic metal.
