Voodoo Blood, Pulverise, Silverchild – Rebellion Bar, Manchester 20-10-2017
22nd October 2017 0 By Craig HuttonA mild Friday night in Manchester, a gig at the Rebellion bar and it’s time to get hot and sweaty with Voodoo Blood, Pulverise and Silverchild.
Voodoo Blood released their single Groove Medicine at Rebellion Bar, Manchester on Saturday night to a packed crowd. With support from Stoke’s hard rock rockers Silverchild & Leeds high energy, partycore, rap metal, groove band Pulverise.
Silverchild opened the evening with some amazing hard rock tunes and the awesome vocals from Alex Hiley. With the Rebellion Bar only half full, the amazing sounds from Silverchild soon had music fans flooding through the Rebellion Bars front door and after the first few songs you couldn’t swing a cat.
The crowd was absolutely bouncing by the time Pulverise graced the Rebellion stage and what a pleasant surprise I was in for, as this was my first experience with high energy, partycore, rap metal, groove, I found them to be a lot of fun and every member of the band really showed they enjoyed being on stage and off the stage as Daz took to the mosh pit while still banging out tunes on his bass.
This was my second visit to a Voodoo Blood show and it won’t be my last. Listening to Kimberley’s very mature voice is an amazing pleasure, just trying to keep my camera focused on her was a bit of a challenge as she raced across the stage, fell to the floor and banged her head to the beat of Will Lewis on drums. Playing some fantastic tunes from Brain, I Go To Bed, and straight off the second interlude the amazing new single Groove Medicine. This was an amazing night and I will be keeping my eye on my notifications for news of the next Voodoo Blood, Pulverise and Silverchild shows.
