Simone Simons – Vermillion – Review

Simone Simons – Vermillion – Review

3rd September 2024 0 By Jon Deaux

Prepare to be completely enchanted by “Vermillion,” the latest solo album from Epica’s frontwoman, Simone Simons as she teams up with Arjen Lucassen for her long overdue debut album.

Stepping away from the symphonic metal that made her a legend, Simone delves into a soundscape that’s as sultry as it is sublime. Her voice, already known for its ethereal power, takes on an intoxicating new warmth, drawing listeners into a world where every note is draped in velvet and every melody whispers with temptation.

Vermillion showcases Simone as you’ve never heard her before. Her voice smoothly glides through the album, weaving tales of desire and longing. Each song on “Vermillion” is like a dramatic soap opera for your soul. Simone’s lyrics are poetic, rich in imagery, and dripping with sensuality. Simone’s voice shines with such blinding brilliance. It’s like the musical version of looking directly at the sun—spectacular but a little dangerous for your ears!
Simone’s debut isn’t just an album; it’s an experience. Simone Simons has crafted a masterpiece.

If you’re a fan of Epica, Star One or just incredible cinematic music, this is a must-own.
