Recorded at Criteria Recording Studios in Miami, FL—the same studio that recorded Black Sabbath‘s Heaven and Hell, Fleetwood Mac‘s Rumours, The Eagles‘ Hotel California, AC/DC‘s Highway To Hell and many more seminal albums—Permanent Dawn sees Earthburner utilizing that same legendary space to create 11 tracks of uncompromising grind, tinged with afterworld bleakness and contemporary horror. Produced by Tommy McWilliams (Elegant Weapons) and Jeremy Wagner, mixed by Scott Creekmore (Broken Hope, Putrid Pile, Waco Jesus, etc), and mastered by Mike Fuller (Obituary, Death, Broken Hope, Judas Priest, etc) of Fullersound in Davie, FL, the record is “…veritable buzzsaw, raw and rough – resembling the vintage Swedish death metal tonality – and delivered with vigor and velocity.” (Metal Rules)
