ALBUM REVIEW : ELECTRIC CALLBOY – TEKKNO

ALBUM REVIEW : ELECTRIC CALLBOY – TEKKNO

15th May 2024 0 By Laura Jane

When Electric Callboy announced their album “Tekkno,” fans knew they were in for a wild ride, and the band did not disappoint. This album is a cosmic rollercoaster of electronicore that takes you on a journey through the stars with its high-energy beats and unapologetic fun.

The album kicks off with “Pump It,” a track that sets the tone for what’s to come: a relentless party that refuses to slow down. It’s like the band has taken the essence of a rave and distilled it into audio form, complete with all the neon lights and euphoria but without the next-day hangover.

Then there’s “Spaceman,” featuring the one and only FiNCH. This track is a standout, not just on the album but in the universe of collaborations. It’s as if Electric Callboy and FiNCH boarded a spaceship, hit the rave thrusters to the maximum, and launched into an orbit of pure, unadulterated joy. The song is an intergalactic anthem that makes you want to don a spacesuit and dance on the moon.

The lyrics are a playful nod to space exploration with a twist of rave culture. “I’m a spaceman, got a rocket on my back, Spaceman, oh, I’m ravin’ like a maniac,” they proclaim, and you can’t help but join in the madness. It’s a track that defies gravity, both literally and figuratively, as it lifts your spirits and your feet off the ground.

“Tekkno” is not just an album; it’s a declaration that Electric Callboy is here to party, and they’re taking us all with them. It’s a reminder that sometimes, you just need to let loose and enjoy the ride, even if that ride is on a rocket ship heading straight for a nebula of neon and bass.

So, if you’re looking for an album that will transport you to another dimension where the party never ends, “Tekkno” is your ticket to the stars. Strap in and prepare for lift-off, because Electric Callboy is about to take you on a trip you won’t forget. And with “Spaceman” on the playlist, it’s guaranteed to be a blast. Literally.
