AMON AMARTH RELEASE VIDEO FOR “SAXONS AND VIKINGS” FEATURING MEMBERS OF HEAVY METAL BAND SAXON

Fans can now watch the brand new music video for the song “Saxons and Vikings” off AMON AMARTH’s current album The Great Heathen Army.

The video features British heavy metal band SAXON’s Biff Byford, who provides vocals for the song, along with his bandmates Paul Quinn and Doug Scarratt facing off against AMON AMARTH’s very own Vikings Olavi Mikkonen, Ted Lundström, Johan Söderberg, Johan Hegg, and Jocke Wallgren. AMON AMARTH’s lead vocalist, Johan Hegg, had this to say of the new video; ”Recording this song with the legends from SAXON was amazing. AMON AMARTH continues to tour in support of their critically adored The Great Heathen Army full-length. Recorded with esteemed studio guru Andy Sneap and released in 2022, the record represents another bold leap forward for the band, as their trademark sound undergoes yet another skilful, evolutionary overhaul, both lyrically and musically.
