BLACK OPAL RELEASE DEBUT SINGLE “BEAUTIFUL CONFUSION” out 25/11/24

Black Opal are a 4-piece rock band based in Belfast whose sound primarily fuses melodic and riff laden guitar, matched by poignant, biting lyrics, backed by a pulsating rhythm section of guitar, bass & drums. Formed in 2022, they began working on and developing a series of songs that would go on to form the basis of their debut album, ‘Divine Accusations’. The album offers an honest take on the group’s major influences while exploring themes of love, loss and aspects of the human condition. Their music pays homage to their love of riff heavy melodic rock. With more than a nod to the classic sounds of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, the rock & alternative music scenes of their youth, the heavy sound of 90s grunge & indie Britpop underlined by punks musical honesty and in your face, do it yourself appeal.

The band will be releasing ‘Beautiful Confusion’  their 1st single from the album DIVINE ACCUSATIONS on 25th November across all platforms. DIVINE ACCUSATIONS is the debut album scheduled for release 21/3/2025.
