Brooklyn bruisers Cash Bribe are back with their third EP, “Demonomics,” dropping June 13, 2025, via Futureless. This marks their first release on the label, and they’ve never sounded louder, sharper, or more furious.
Leading the charge is the blistering first single, “Death Tax,” now streaming everywhere.

Of the single vocalist Joe Dahlstrom: says, “Death Tax comes from thinking about entropy and decay. Nature can be cruel, violent, and indifferent — the suffering seems pointless — but accepting and understanding the terms of our existence comes with a certain viriditas, an empowering vitality to approach it head-on.”
Guitarist Kirk McGirk adds, “This one made it into our live sets pretty quickly – people would respond to it pretty well, and we like when we do something that makes people move.”

A follow-up to 2023’s “Escape From New York” (Fanxdangxo Records), “Demonomics” refines Cash Bribe’s craft while doubling down on their ferocity. With Zach Miller (ex-Gel) behind the boards at Landmine Studios—where hardcore staples like Year of the Knife, and 25 Ta Life have laid down tracks—the EP hits with unrelenting force.
This time around, Cash Bribe expands their sonic arsenal. Tracks like the title cut and “Faith Aversion” pack in heavier, more metallic riffs, pushing their sound into even darker territory. Meanwhile, “Bay of Pigs” slams with low-tuned, no-fucks-given rock’n’roll swagger. Fans of mid-era Black Flag and the noisy hardcore of Cursed and Blacklisted will feel right at home.
Lyrically, “Demonomics” takes aim at the crushing grip of the billionaire class and the systems designed to keep the rest of us complacent. It’s a raw, unfiltered critique set to some of the band’s hardest-hitting material yet.
Formed in Brooklyn in 2019, Cash Bribe first made noise with their debut EP “Facemask City” (2022). Their 2023 release, “Escape From New York,” was self-released to critical acclaim, earning a Bandcamp ‘New and Notable’ feature and single premieres from Metal Injection and Decibel Magazine.
Now, with “Demonomics,” they’re hitting harder than ever. Brace yourself.
