CATS in SPACE Release Cinematic New Video for “This Velvet Rush”

British rock band CATS in SPACE have released a captivating new video for This Velvet Rush, a standout track from their latest number-one charting album Time Machine, which dropped on October 25 via the Esoteric Antenna label. The band’s unique blend of classic rock, cinematic soundscapes, and powerful melodies is fully realized in this track, offering fans an immersive experience that goes beyond the typical rock n’ roll formula.

 

This Velvet Rush embodies the spirit of CATS in SPACE, blending fresh sounds with a nod to the John Barry and Edwin Astley-influenced vibes of the past. “This track is a great example of our range as a band – we wanted to craft something both powerful and cinematic,” the band shared. Guitarist Greg Hart shared the deeply personal significance of this release, saying, “This video was special to me as I used my dad’s guitar, which he left me when he passed away four years ago, for the very first time. The guitar has 61 years of memories, and it’s a treasure that, to me, is beyond iconic. I absolutely love this song; it truly shows the brilliant versatility of the guys – it’s magical!”
