ELECTRIC CALLBOY RECEIVE GOLD AWARD AND RELEASE LIVE VIDEO FOR ‘HYPA HYPA’

After the release of their internationally successful album, TEKKNO, Electric Callboy has now been awarded a Gold Award for 200,000 sold units for the single ‘Hypa Hypa’.

‘Hypa Hypa’ was the starting point of a new chapter in the band’s history, followed by the #1 chart album TEKKNO and sold-out shows around the globe. As a thank you, Electric Callboy released a live video ‘Hypa Hypa (Lanxess Arena 2023)’ last week from their recent sold-out show in Cologne.

The band comments:

And all of a sudden, we’re able to present them a Gold Award at a sold-out arena show. I think there is barely any band that has worked harder and has grown bigger during a pandemic and therefore no other ones have deserved this more than they do. Furthermore, the German shooting stars were nominated in three categories at this year’s Heavy Music Awards. Best International Artist, Best International Live Artist, and Best Video.

Electric Callboy previously announced a special TEKKNO (Tour Edition) release which will hit the streets on 24th March via Century Media Records. The TEKKNO (Tour Edition) features the full TEKKNO album, plus five live tracks that were recorded on their sold-out 2022 European tour.
