FOZZY’S CHRIS JERICHO AND WEST HAM UNITED’S CARLTON COLE TALK IRON MAIDEN AND WEST HAM AT THE CARPENTERS ARMS
11th August 2022In 2014 when asked if he had a favourite Football team, Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho answered “West Ham!” due to his love for fellow Hammer Steve Harris and Iron Maiden. In 2017 the club tweeted out a video of Goalkeeper Darren Randolph performing the Walls Of Jericho on star Striker Michail Antonio, which Chris saw and gave his seal of approval. Now in 2022, Chris had the oppurtunity to sit down with West Ham United cult hero Carlton Cole, at the famous West Ham pub The Carpenters Arms, for the very first episode the clubs new series ‘Carlton Up The Carpenters’. The pair discussed Chris’s long standing affinity with West Ham United, his love for Iron Maiden and Fozzy’s upcoming UK tour. They were even joined by Antonio and Randolph, to follow up on their recreation of Jericho’s famous wrestling move. Safe to say, Chris Jericho is now a fully fledged member of the West Ham family and he may even get himself to a game, when Fozzy return to the UK in November.
Fozzy’s Save the World Tour begins in Manchester on 4 November and calls through Birmingham, Nottingham, Dublin, Belfast, Swansea, Bournemouth, Bristol, Glasgow and finishes in London on 14 November. Fozzy will be playing songs from their new studio album, Boombox, which was released on 6 May via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group (ex-NA). PRESS HERE to listen. Boombox, Fozzy’s eighth full-length album produced by Johnny Andrews, features the band’s anthemic new single “I Still Burn,” a Top 20 US Active Rock radio chart hit – their 6th straight Top 20 single.
