Graspop Metal Meeting update!

Dear GMM fans

We miss you… with a vengeance! It’s deathly quiet on the Dessel plains. Under normal circumstances we’d be welcoming you to this year’s metal high mass around this time. Unfortunately we had no other choice but to postpone our anniversary edition of Graspop Metal Meeting for the second year running. The safety of our visitors, crew and artists must come first.

The entire GMM team had hoped to give you a taste of the unique GMM atmosphere but much to our regret we will not be able to present you with a worthy alternative to GMM. We hope you understand.

BUT not to worry! GMM will be back in 2022, better and stronger than ever. Your unwavering loyalty and support in these difficult times is what keeps us going. Together we will get through this and we hope to see you all again in 2022 to celebrate the 25th edition of Graspop Metal Meeting from 16-19 June 2022.

Meanwhile we are toiling behind the scenes to put together a killer line-up for GMM2022. We are doing everything in our power to roll over as many bands as possible from the GMM2021 line-up to our 2022 edition and we also have a few aces up our sleeve! The full line-up for GMM2022 will be announced shortly and we can tell you right now it’s shaping up to be a TOP edition! Previously we announced 3 headliners for GMM2022:

• • • • Iron Maiden (Thursday 16 June 2022);
      • Judas Priest (Saturday 18 June 2022);
      • Aerosmith (Sunday 19 June 2022).

    GMM is relocating!

    • • Yep, that’s right. GMM is relocating. We’re not going far though, we’re staying in Dessel.
      • This past year we’ve had additional time to optimise the GMM festival grounds. In 2022 the festival arena is moving to the former ‘Camping Boneyard’ site. Of course the move will also bring a series of improvements: better parking facilities (closer to the campsites), better sanitary facilities, new and improved locations for the various campsites… More details to follow soon.

    • • Those of you who already had a ticket for GMM2020 OR 2021 will receive an email from Ticketmaster with more details as of 1 September 2021. Tickets for GMM2022 will go on sale later this year.
