Horror Rock & Wrestle Fest Manchester Update

Horror Rock & Wrestle Fest Manchester Update

29th December 2024 0 By DJ Pixie
Now that Monopoly Events have announced their first four celebrity guests (with more to come soon!)
Heres a breakdown to update everyone on the  format of this show, and answer publicly some of the many FAQ’s that are asked of the team.
HOW THE EVENT IS THE SAME AS – For The Love Of Horror….
This event is presented by the same team as FTLOH and is very much its sister event.
This event will be run as a second FTLOH event, so fans will receive two FTLOH offerings a year.
Early in the year in March will be Horror Rock and Wrestle Fest, with the usual FTLOH in October annually.
Feedback each year from fans to Monopoly Events was that the fans didn’t like waiting 12 months to go to the next horror con, hence this move to add another offering.
During the daytime (from 11 am – 6 pm), there will be guest signing, stage panels, prop builds, shows, attractions, cosplay, traders, and photoshoots – exactly the same as the conventions you have seen before by Monopoly Events.
Some of the stage hosts will stay the same with some new additions, the Events team are using the same venue and the staff and management team will be the same.
HOW THE EVENT IS DIFFERENT TO FTLOH….
Your ticket is valid from 11 am until 11 pm.
Once it gets to 6 pm the signing and Q&A will finish and the live music will start.
With a dynamic lineup, I hope that the bands ignite the fans with their electrifying sets, bringing a whole new energy to monopoly events.
This will be a thrilling reminder why this event is the one to be at, having a bit of everything thrown in the mix.
I mean who doesn’t love everything Horror, rock music, and wrestling?
The event has already announced ‘First Jason’ and there will be four bands/live acts onstage each night.
It’s a fairly similar format to FTLOH, except as a special offer for this first year the Events team won’t be charging for a separate After Party ticket.
Your standard entry tickets will give you access all day and all evening.
I see this as a kind of convention that switched into an indoor festival.
WHAT ABOUT THE WRESTLING?
There will be a Q&A by the legendary Chris Jericho on Friday night, which will lead into a live wrestling show!
The ring will then be in situ all weekend.
A few of the panels will be hosted inside the ring.
Outside of that time it’ll be there as a prop/set for you to have some fun posed photos inside.
ANYTHING ELSE?
As this is the teams first year doing Horror, Rock, and Wrestle Fest there will also be some special competitions ran during the weekend.
This will include an incredible Money Can’t Buy Platinum ticket for For the Love of Horror that will give you a photo or an autograph with EVERY SINGLE GUEST at the show.
More details will be announced on a live event soon over on their social media pages.
The events team is excited to be bringing this event to you all in March.
For several years people have asked if the team can double up FTLOH and bring you two a year, and that is exactly what the team is doing, only with a twist!
The events team will be getting feedback from all of you amazing fans as well after the first show on ways they can keep building and improving it for future years.
I can’t wait for this event! Catch you all there!
