HRH DOOM VS HRH STONER -ANNOUCEMENT12th December 2016 0 By John Deaux
Truckfighters, Deville and others join MDB and Orange Goblin for HRH Doom Vs HRH Stoner Chapter II
HRH are proud to announce even more acts which will perform at HRH Doom Vs HRH Stoner Chapter II (at the O2 Academy, between Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October 2017), joining an already kickass line-up.
Swedish rockers Truckfighters are famed for their desert rock and heavy stoner sound, to which they’ve recently added more atmospheric elements, something that the HRH Horde is looking forward to.
Also from Sweden come Malmö-based rockers Deville. Experts in brutal melody, for over a decade, Deville have built a career out of tight, hard-hitting rock and roll flavored with stoner metal and hard fuzz.
Also joining the HRH Doom vs HRH Stoner Chapter II roster are Steak: a 4 piece hard rock and heavy rollin’ band from London.
Meanwhile fellow Londoners Grave Lines‘ sound has been described by noisey.vice.com as “definitely heavy… not sludge, and… not pure doom, either; it’s certainly not stoner rock (though it does swing like a villain from the gallows). It’s a dark, murky blend of all three, and serves as a fine introduction to a band who will undoubtedly soon be one of the brightest stars in the London underground.”
These great bands join the festival’s other already-announced artistes, such as headliners My Dying Bride; Orange Goblin,Kadavar, Black Moth and Ten Foot Wizard.
Other class acts include: Boss Kelloid, Regulus, Serpent Venom, Blind Haze, Bast, Kurokuma, Hogslayer, Pist, Barbarian Hermit, Gurt, King Goat, and Witch Tripper.
As with all HRH events, tickets are selling like rocket-powered hotcakes, so book early to avoid the disappointment of missing out on this awesome celebration of Doom and Stoner Rock.
