INDIGO BLAZE RETURN WITH FIERCE NEW SINGLE ‘D1’
9th April 2025Perth’s nu-metal heavyweights Indigo Blaze unleash their explosive new single, ‘D1’, ahead of their debut EP dropping later this year. With past support from HEAVY Mag, Aus Music Scene, AAA Backstage, and key Spotify playlists like New Nu, Adrenaline, Hard Rock, and All New Metal, and support slots with Hed PE, Ocean Grove and Gyroscope, the band has seen a 3000%+ Spotify stream surge in 2024. ‘D1’ is the first of a set of scorching singles set to cement Indigo Blaze as a rising powerhouse.
Formed in the blue-collar suburbs of southeast Perth, Western Australia, Indigo Blaze has been bringing their new take on nu-metal, blending early 00’s Limp Bizkit heaviness and playful 90’s Beastie Boys vocal stylings, all with an Australian uniqueness.
Utterly ferocious and undeniably fun, the new single ‘D1’ is a refreshing and exciting take on the golden days of nu-metal.

A stint in the studio with Matt Templeman (Voyager, Make Them Suffer) in 2024 has set the band up for a slew of releases across 2025, all leading up to their hotly anticipated debut EP coming later this year. The first of those singles – ‘D1’ – comes roaring in after 2024’s ‘Wanna Play’, ‘UNBOUND,’ and ‘CRITICAL HIT,’ which all saw the band’s streaming figures soar to dizzying heights – and ‘D1’ is certain to see them continue on their meteoric rise.
