If you’re new to WARD XVI, then you’ve been missing out. The theatrical hard-hitters hail from the Northwest of England and have gained a formidable reputation for their compelling performances that infuse engrossing visuals with dark storytelling. The gruesome mob depicts the story of a female serial killer, Psychoberrie, and retraces her steps by using a unique blend of drama, music, and puppetry.
Born with a powerful drive to smash creative boundaries, WARD XVI, tip their hats to past masters such as Iron Maiden and Alice Cooper, and to contemporary heavyweights, Ghost and Skindred. WARD XVI have established themselves as a standout act in the rock and metal scene and are equally adept at bringing their stage show to the club circuit and prominent venues such as the London Roundhouse and larger festival stages akin to Bloodstock.
Following on the success of their previous album, Metamorphosis, which earned widespread plaudit and racked up numerous awards, WARD XVI arenow ready to release their eagerly awaited new album, Id3ntity, which is the final part of a trilogy of releases: “ID3NTITY is the stunning conclusion of Psychoberrie’s story based on a sordid tale that’s ten blood-soaked years in the telling.
