KARMA’S PUPPET HALLOWEEN METAL PARTY – REBELLION MANCHESTER 26TH OCTOBER 2024

The local metal scene is something that I am definitely supportive of – Why you may ask? Why not just review Metallica for the 2,000 time or why not comment about how trash Corey Feldman’s music career is? Simply put the local scene is the starting zone for many bands and I believe we should support our scene whenever and however we can. I’m always on the look out for fresh new songs and people who show passion.

I recently was browsing on the 0161 Manchester Underground Metal Promotions Facebook page, I wasn’t quiet sure what for exactly but stumbled happily upon a band named Karma’s Puppet and thought I’d check them out. Off to Spotify I went and found their 2023 album release(Spotify re-release) entitled “Where The Old Roots Grow” and I have to say it was a very enjoyable listen of which I’ll be honest I would listen to again without hesitation. So, who are Karma’s Puppet? Karma’s Puppet are a five-piece melodic metal band from Macclesfield, United Kingdom. Current lined up consist of Alex blaikie (Vocals), Simon Mayo (Guitar), Matt Poole (Guitar), Tom Perry (Bass) and Max Hodson (Drums).

Tracks like “The Butcher” and “Sleepless” showcased the music talent of these lads and the raw potential they have. Throughout the album the band showcase a variety of styles and influences that keep the whole experience fresh and exciting. Karma’s Puppets music can be found on Spotify >> HERE << I’d highly recommend checking these guys out as they are a testimony and reminder that metal scene remains as vibrant and dynamic as ever.

In addition to this, it’s great to see the band posting alternative content on their social media pages which blogs and vlogs of their endeavors. Personality is something a lot of bands lack these days and this is not the case with these guys, it did give me a laugh watching some of the things including the “loud t-shirt” support. Absolute genius.

Karma’s Puppet are set to headline their very own metal Halloween party on the 26th October 2024 at Rebellion in Manchester.
