King Kraken- March Of The Gods – Album Review
11th April 2025 0 By DJ PixieThe earth trembled with the release of ‘March of the Gods’ which is the latest offering from veteran heavy rock outfit King Kraken.
Cranking the amps up to 11 and leaving no eardrum unturned, the album is a relentless barrage of thunderous riffs and different guitar tones used, pounding drums, and their signature gravel-throated vocals of frontman, Mark Donoghue, this album was meticulously crafted.
‘March of The Gods’ is a testament to King Krakens dedication to their roots, channelling all their raw energy of classic heavy metal with a modern un-compromising edge.
The band has returned true to form, delivering pure, unadulterated rock fury.
From the opening of the 1st track ‘Scream‘ blistering solo, to the albums doom-laden closer ‘Under the Sun’, ‘March of the Gods’ remains a force to be reckoned with in the heavy rock landscape.
I highly recommend getting this album and cranking the volume right up, its a rifftastic masterpiece that you can easily get lost in.
‘March of the Gods’ is more than just a collection of songs; its an emotional journey, a sonic landscape that is painted with raw energy. it grabs you by the throat and drags you along for the ride.
Each track surges through you like an overwhelming kick of adrenaline that races through your veins.
An absolute beast of an album.Score 10/10
