Singer/Songwriter LINDSAY SCHOOLCRAFT has won the prestigious OMA (Oshawa Music Award) for “Artist or Band of the Year”. She won the award in honor of her critically acclaimed 2020 release Worlds Away.

Per the OMA website, “The Best Artist or Band of the Year award is presented to an artist or band, born and or residing in the Durham Region, in any genre, that has achieved substantial recognition and success within the eligibility period. The artist or band has positively contributed to the Durham Region’s music community at large and helped to put the Durham Region on the map.”

LINDSAY commented “I could not have become the artist that I did and done what I’ve done with my career if it was not for all that Oshawa has offered”.
