MALEVOLENCE Kick Off THE SABBATH SESSIONS

12th October 2021 0 By John Deaux
Birmingham’s hottest new hangout, THE SABBATH is proud to announce the launch of their Sabbath Sessions acoustic events at Dig Brew craft brewery in Digbeth. The sold-out inaugural event featured one of metal’s most exciting new properties, MALEVOLENCE, together with SYLOSIS and TESSERACT.

90 lucky fans were invited to the intimate setting on 25th September as part of THE SABBATH’s special weekend celebrating TRIVIUM’s new album, ‘In The Court Of The Dragon.’ As part of the evening’s events, Dig Brew and TRIVIUM presented their limited edition collaborative beer, ‘Ryujin Biru’, a speciality Session IPA with Yuzu, which THE SABBATH’s punters and TRIVIUM fans were the first to sample.

THE SABBATH’s Adam Foster commented;

“The whole evening was an amazing experience and we’re really pleased with how that translated on the screen. Konan from Malevolence showcases everything good in heavy music today, and although this show was performed with acoustic guitars, it was a very fitting ode to the city that created heavy metal and where we are heading next. We’re very excited to bring more of these curated events to our beloved Birmingham”.

MALEVOLENCE’s Konan Hall tells us:

“We wanted to play a song that represents the changes everyone has had to face over the last two years. Changes in all aspects of life that have altered everyone’s normality. For us personally, The Sabbath Sessions was a perfect chance to showcase the changes we had to face as performing artists. This very intimate acoustic performance represents that sentiment in its purest form.”
