31st January 2025Matt Pearce & The Mutiny release a video for their latest single, ‘Never Get Away From Love’, from the acclaimed album The Soul Food Store. The album achieved commercial success, hitting the #1 spot on the Amazon Blues Charts. Fireworks Magazine praised the record, calling it “a classy, well-crafted record with something to please everyone. Impressive!”
Matt Pearce says:“Never Get Away From Love is the last single I’m releasing from The Soul Food Store album, it’s a funky little tune, unusually in 7/8 time signature, which makes it super fun to play live, watching the band members’ concentration faces, and the audience members trying to dance to it..! The lyric video is taken from a 1945 film noir called Detour, and it works great with the song I think.”Matt adds, “We shall be playing this one live for sure on the forthcoming UK double-header jaunt with Mr Jack J Hutchinson, so come on down and see how the dancing works out…”
