NATE BERGMAN PLUNGES INTO THE “DEEP END” AS UK DATES BEGIN

NATE BERGMAN, the Nashville by way of D.C. singer-songwriter, is a performer with a voice that transcends generations. His powerful vocals create a timeless sound that weaves through the rich tapestry of Nashville’s musical heritage. Fresh off a sold-out show with the influential post-hardcore group Thursday in London last week, today NATE BERGMAN slows time down with a reflective, emotional new single “Deep End.”

Nate sings and plays guitar on the acoustic track, with bass duties competently handled by The Raconteurs‘ Jack Lawrence. Captured in one take live to 2-inch tape, with no digital editing, it was produced by Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Margo Price) and Nate at The Bomb Shelter studio in Nashville.

Nate shares, “The song is about facing the consequences of diving head-first into any risky situation in life. Whether it’s the gamble of a new relationship, moving to a new city, or pursuing your dreams in any fashion. It’s about the results of things not going as planned. Getting caught up in the potential future of that situation and having it not work out. That’s such a ubiquitous part of the human experience. Things eventually always get better, but the song’s vibe is about sitting at the rock bottom and realizing you’re too deep to turn back.”

First introduced to UK audiences as the frontman of reggae-influenced rock act LIONIZE, in recent years NATE BERGMAN has trailblazed a new path as a solo artist embracing Americana. Anchored in Nashville’s vibrant music scene, Bergman’s journey began with a passion for storytelling through song. His live performances are a testament to his exceptional talent, marked by a magnetic stage presence that captivates audiences wherever he sings.

The renowned musician will perform at the very popular 2000Trees Festival this weekend and rejoins his good friend, fast-rising US star AMIGO THE DEVIL, as a special guest for a string of UK & Irish dates, starting tomorrow in Brighton and concluding in Dublin on July 22.
