13th June 2024In one week, the gates of Graspop Metal Meeting will open again for a weekend filled with shredding guitars and pounding drums. To ensure this 27th edition of Graspop Metal Meeting runs smoothly, here are a few practical tips!
Reusable cups
This year GMM is introducing reusable cups for beer, wine, cava, cocktails and coffee. Other beverages are still served in bottles or cans.
Upon your arrival you will receive 2 Return Coins together with your festival wristband. These Return Coins act as a ‘security deposit’ for a drinks packaging on the festival grounds (can, plastic bottle or reusable cup) or for a reusable coffee cup at Camping Boneyard.
Ordering a drink? Then hand over a Return Coin for the drinks packaging and pay for the beverage itself with the Skullies on the tag on your festival wristband. With your next order hand in your empty drinks packaging at the counter in exchange for a new drink.

Plan your trip to #GMM24
Just like other years your bike, train and public transport are still the best ways to get to Graspop Metal Meeting. Festival-goers who come to the festival by train, paying shuttles (airport shuttle or festival shuttle) or bicycle receive a Green Coin.
Going by train to the festival? Good thinking! NMBS/SNCB provides additional capacity. The nearest station is Mol. From there, our free shuttle bus will take you to the festival site. Attention: Your festival ticket is not valid as a train ticket.
Avoid the usual festival congestion, get dropped off at the Kiss & Ride zone at Mol Station, and hop on one of the free shuttle buses to the festival grounds.
Coming to #GMM24 by car? Don’t forget to buy a car park ticket. Car park tickets are only €15 per car if you buy them in advance online. On the day tickets are €20 per car (only bank or credit cards, NO cash). Attention: drive off = a new ticket. So if you come by car every day you’ll have to buy a new ticket every time. Meet up with your friends and carpool to the festival. You can offer a ride or find a ride through this carpooling website.

For the 27th time the Dessel plains will be the hotspot for the leading lights of the metal and hard rock scenes. Once again Dessel will shake to its very foundations. The leading and most all-round hard rock and metal festival of the Benelux takes place from 20-23 June 2024. GMM2024 is the hallmark event marked in red on every metalhead’s calendar.
