Penetration: Moving Targets in full, plus other classics on 5 date UK Tour

November 2024 one of the most innovative acts to emerge from the British punk movement, Penetration, will embark on a UK tour taking in 5 major cities. This will be the first headline tour for the band, known for such classic singles as Don’t Dictate, Firing Squad, Come Into The Open and Beat Goes On, since promoting their critically acclaimed 3rd album, Resolution, in 2015. The band will be performing their seminal debut album, Moving Targets, in full at all dates, along with other classics from their lengthy career.

The tour will cap a very active year for Penetration who, following the success of Pauline Murray’s detailed and enlightening autobiography Life’s A Gamble and the ‘Evening With’ tour that accompanied it, are releasing a new recording of Moving Targets to accompany the dates.

MOVING TARGETS RE:CALIBRATED, LIVE AT POLESTAR, is a fresh take on the classic LP, recorded live in their Newcastle studio in 2007, and mixed this year by Robert and Alex Blamire. A limited edition vinyl release went on pre order in August at www.paulinemurrayx.com/shop and demand has already been high. The album will be available on streaming platforms from November 1st

Earlier this year Penetration performed an incendiary career-spanning set at Bearded Theory festival in Derbyshire, their first appearance at a major outdoor festival since taking the Reading Festival by storm in 1978.

Penetration are currently in the studio working on new material with plans for a brand new record in the coming months.
