Prog/Trad-Metal Outfit, SLEEPLESS, Release “Call To The Void” Video
8th October 2024SLEEPLESS is set to release Through Endless Black, their second full-length album, on October 31! The album will be available on vinyl and digital formats through Necromantic Press Records. The CD version will be released on Metal Warrior Records.
Soon after the release of the critically acclaimed, 2022 full-length debut album, Host Desecration, writing team Eric Sexton-Dorsett and Kevin Hahn dug in deep with a single-minded purpose: to create a world-class metal album that shows exactly what SLEEPLESS is all about! Through Endless Black is just that! The album leans into the band’s Trad Metal roots, infused with the technical flourishes and splashes of Doom that collectively create the SLEEPLESS sound! “With each tune we would picture someone dropping the needle onto a record,” explains Sexton-Dorsett. “Could they nod their head to the song and have it repeating in their mind the rest of the day?”
Mission accomplished!
The band also introduced their first guest vocal appearances by legendary punk vocalist Jerry A of Poison Idea and master metal vocalist Sean Peck of Denner/Sherman, Cage, and Death Dealer!
