Tonight, I headed down to my local little record store, Wax & Beans, for an in-store acoustic show with Punk Rock Factory. They have just released their new album, ‘All Hands On Deck,’ which is currently in the top 10 in the album charts!

This album is chock full of cheesy 90s goodliness, which PRF brings to the stage in full force. There is lots of banter and laughs to be had throughout the show.
If you haven’t already got your hands on a copy, now’s the time to get one! Crank the music up and party hard like it’s the 90s!
The band is already planning for 2026 with their ‘We’re Gonna Need A Bigger Boat’ UK tour.
Frontman Peej Edwards tells us about previous instore experiences the band has played including 1 they did in Nottingham the previous night, to which a reviewer by the name of Jon left them a very scathing review knocking the price of the show and the fact it was an acoustic set, not quite sure what he was expecting from a HMV show really, maybe he was expecting pyrotechnics or a laser show?
After reading the review out, and the crowds booed at this, it was made into a bit of a banter piece for the duration of the show.

Back to my actual review.

The band started the night off with Disney’s ‘Under The Sea’, pop punk meets Disney – yes, please! I mean who doesn’t love punk rock or Disney (That’d be Jon!).
This was followed by the band doing their version of Backstreet Boys ‘Larger Than Life’.
I’ve never seen such a huge crowd of rockers and metal heads who came together here in Bury tonight at Wax and Beans and sang their hearts out to a cover of Backstreet Boys, i may have cried happy tears. I’m a complete pop diva at heart!
This band brings out the inner child in all of us who have been raised on Disney, the band who are big kids themselves at heart, along with their charisma ignite the audience, with all these nostalgic Disney classics that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.
This band brought such a buzz to the crowds who had flocked to see them, singing along to kids’ tv theme tunes such as Bluey and Spongebob Squarepants, I was quite in awe at how this band with their entertaining performance had managed to keep the crowds chomping at the bit.

Everyone was still in high spirits throughout the whole set, with the band ending this fabulous night with Moana’s ‘How Far I’ll Go’.

I really need to go and see this band do a full set in an academy or larger venue and have the full PRF experience  – OYOY!
Afterward, we were able to meet the band and get their new album signed, hang out with them for a little while, and get a photo.
They tell us about how rewarding it has been to be able to do these up close and personal shows with their fans, and how blessed they are that they have such supportive fans that come from all corners of the UK just to see them.
Peej tells us that the lifeblood of the band isn’t just the music they play, but the vibrant and dedicated fanbase that they have behind them. That they aren’t just followers of the bands but active participants in their journey as artists, who not only engage online with other fans as a community but become the bands champions who fuel the bands creativity and passions.
Tonight was one I won’t forget in a long time.
A great set, a great night, great music, and lots of laughs had by all.
