Rainbreakers to Support Sari Schorr on UK Tour

Rainbreakers to Support Sari Schorr on UK Tour

5th March 2020 0 By John Deaux

Rainbreakers are delighted to announce that they’ll be touring with the fiery modern-day Rock & blues star Sari Schorr on her forthcoming tour in April 2020.

The shows we have with Sari are gonna be a blast!” says drummer Sam Edwards, “It’s always a pleasure and an experience to support the musicians we have admired within the scene and it’s so good to be back on the road again. We love it! Can’t wait to see familiar, and new faces, at the shows.”

The rising rock ‘n’ soul-inspired Rainbreakers recently completed their own full-set, headline ‘Ain’t Nothin’ Going On’ tour, where the 4-piece band reveled in taking their music out on the road and also toured the Czech Republic in the Autumn of 2019.

Rainbreakers take late-Sixties and early-Seventies British rock and bring it bang up to date by generously mixing in soul and garage, then adding a zesty dash of contemporary blues-rock.  The band has been playing to capacity crowds at iconic venues such as The 100 Club, The Borderline, The Sage, and Rock City. They’ve also enthusiastically supported artists like The Kris Barras Band, Wille and the Bandits, Alabama 3, and The Temperance Movement.

What’s more, performances at festivals like the Great British Rock and Blues Festival, Wilderness Festival, Le Blues Autour du Zinc, and Ramblin’ Man have seen the band receive rave reviews and many an accolade, including nominations for the UK Blues Challenge and ‘Best Emerging Artist’ in The British Blues Awards, affirming Rainbreakers’ standing as a breakthrough band to watch.

The band are currently working with dedication on their sophomore album, following their 2 EPs and debut album ‘Face to Face’. Guitarist and lead vocalist Ben Edwards explains, “Pretty much since we finished our headline tour, we’ve just been in the studio with our new material, getting it recorded ready for our second album. It’s always fun being in the studio and getting to be creative and stretch ourselves at the same time. We feel so privileged that we even get to record a second album and can’t wait to show our fans what we’ve been working on!

Check out the progress towards release on the band’s website and social media, where you’ll also find links to their upcoming live gigs and appearances, including their tour with Sari Schorr, headline gigs and festival appearances. You’ll be glad you did!
