19th December 2023Captivating UK solo artist CHRISTIAN SMITH unveils his hugely engrossing new single, Aurora, through Rogue, on Friday 12th January 2024.
Expressing a sound that’s embedded in rugged heartland rock, singer, and songwriter CHRISTIAN SMITH has diligently crafted a wealth of material in anticipation of a full onslaught throughout 2024 and beyond. Combining thought-provoking lyrics with anthemic guitar-driven melodies, Smith tips his cap to the blue-collar vibes of Springsteen and Petty whilst also embracing the emotive and hooky guile of The Gaslight Anthem and Dave Hause. Coming at you from Cambridge, England, CHRISTIAN SMITH has already supported the likes of Tony Wright (Terrorvision) and The Proclaimers. Having widely played throughout the UK, as well as undertaking live performances across Europe, Smith’s well-versed in hard-gigging. Christian has also self-released two acoustic-styled Eps: 2022’s Hope, and last year’s Mad World. Both releases have helped to cultivate a slew of passionate followers. Now, CHRISTIAN SMITH returns to his rock roots with his new single, Aurora, which is the first of many tracks set to be unleashed this year. The single is a poignant piece of acoustic-laden alternative rock marinated in Americana and
served with a killer refrain. The track is backed by an entrancing video, as well as a series of live performances that will see Christian bring a band line-up into the fold to recreate the alt-rock sound from the record into a live environment.
