The Beatles release the official video for The Beatles’ “Taxman”, directed by Danny Sangra
14th October 2022Taxman” is the first track from the Revolver album’s newly remixed and expanded Special Edition releases.
The track was recorded across three Abbey Road Studio Two sessions in April and May, 1966. One of three songs on the album by George, in “Taxman” he expresses his frustration with the UK’s ‘super-rich’ tax rate at the time (90%), with a vocal wink to the “Batman” TV theme song.
