The O2 Arena to go Veggie with Linda McCartney Foods for Paul McCartney’s Final Shows of 2024
16th December 2024Calling all music and food fans! The O2 Arena is set for a veggie makeover to celebrate the end of the European leg of Paul McCartney’s critically acclaimed global Got Back tour. With brilliant music and delicious food, this is set to be the Christmas party of the year.
On the 18th and 19th of December, it’s not just McCartney’s music that will rock but McCartney foods will also be sharing the stage. The O2 Arena is teaming up with Linda McCartney Foods to give concertgoers a plant-powered extravaganza as their food stands get a plant-based upgrade.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the Band on the Run-inspired Van on the Run food truck will be outside the venue offering free mouth-watering treats from the Linda McCartney Food back catalog!
The O2 Arena will offer a 4:2 veggie-to-meat ratio at all the food stands.
The meat-free meals available at concessions inside the arena include:
- Linda McCartney’s Best Burger with chips
- Linda McCartney’s Korean chicken bites with chips
- Linda McCartney’s Vegemince Chilli nachos
- Linda McCartney’s Vegan Sausage corndog with chips
Van on the Run treats will include samples of the family’s plant-based classic hits, including Linda’s Best Burger and Mary’s Chilli Non-Carne.
Like Paul’s music has changed the world, Linda McCartney’s love of animals inspired her to become the meat-free food pioneer since 1991, and has changed the way that the UK eats plant-based food.
For those looking to recreate the veggie goodness at home, you can buy Linda McCartney products in the freezer aisle of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Asda, and Morrisons.
Rebecca Fairbairn, Head of Marketing at The Hain Celestial Group, said: “We’re excited to be taking over concessions inside the arena for a celebration of music and plant-based living. While Paul McCartney has been inspiring generations through his music, Linda McCartney Foods, which is part of Hain Celestial Group’s global family of brands, has been pioneering plant-based living for over 30 years so this is a perfect collaboration of our shared values. We look forward to giving fans a taste of our delicious, sustainable range for this unforgettable event and sharing the family’s best recipes!”
