TigerTailz – Knives
6th October 2013Tigertailz were one of the English cock rock groups back in the late eighties with song’s like “Love Bomb Baby” and “Noise Level Critical”. Now they have got back together and have they moved on? Matured? – Nope, they still sing about going out and getting laid. From opener “Shoe Collection” you are back in the throes of the late eighties and for those stuck there that’s great. They still sound raw and unpolished they still sound in your face and a little unjointed, It’s all too reminiscent of a English sounding cheap man’s early day’s Poison, “Punched In the Gutz” is a pointless addition and the best song here to present is easily “One Life” which is the most serious offering presented here and an avenue I would have loved them to explore more….
