This year the band celebrated the 20th anniversary of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots with a five-LP/six-CD boxset as well as a series of colored vinyl EP’s (see here) and have been playing sold-out shows throughout the US.

With their music appearing in some of the biggest shows and films of the year including Apple TV’s flagship show – Ted Lasso, and unquestionably 2023’s biggest movie blockbuster Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 – the band’s music has been opened up to a whole new audience and now it’s time for that audience to see the unique world behind the music of The Flaming Lips and joyous mayhem of Wayne Coyne and their live shows!

On June 22, 2023, The Flaming Lips will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their sixth studio album, Transmissions from the Satellite Heart. The album features the singles “She Don’t Use Jelly” (which reached number 55 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and became a top-30 hit in Australia) and “Turn It On”.
