Tumble – Lost In Light – Album Review
12th May 2025Hard-hitting Toronto Band TUMBLE head into the psychedelic heavy rock scene; you see them strip away old layers of this genre, delivering a raw, unadulterated sound of their own.
Their music is a pure blend of deep, bluesy whispers and chunky riffs, creating a unique auditory panorama.
“Laid By Fear” throws out bluesy riffs, adding lots of character to their EP., As the tempo slows down, this song is filled with harmonious guitar accompaniment and pensive lyrics that get your head bopping along to this feel-good track.
“The Less I Know” follows, showing us how they explore the bluesy side of their psychedelic sound as they add steady rhythm with a lot of reinforced melodies.
“Dead By Rumour” explodes with attitude and confidence, with a great deal of groove.
I can imagine their stage presence to match this track as they strut their stuff to this magnificent song.
Tracks like “Sullen Slaves” show how the band’s heavy side is driven by meaty riffs that draw you into this beast of a track.
Finally, “Wings of Gold” takes off with a deep, full-bodied bass groove and smooth drumming, providing a good, firm foundation for their debut EP.
A fabulous start to their musical journey; I can’t wait to see what the future holds for TUMBLE!
