UK’s Kite Thief release their second single ’Goldsick’

Influenced by the likes of Spiritbox, Holding Absence, and Vukovi, Kite Thief’s music invites the listener to face their darkness, whilst simultaneously empowering through acceptance, understanding, love, and having as much fun as possible! Fresh from blistering performances at 2000 Trees Festival and Wildfire Festival and sharing stages with the likes of RXPTRS, Of Virtue, and InMe, Kite Thief will release their new single ‘Goldsick’ on the 15th of September 2023. The band recently announced signing to Year Of The Rat Records and released the single ‘The Tide’ which picked up coverage with the likes of BBC Bristol, BBC South West, Independent Music Insider, Amazing Radio, and many other respected publications.

Elin – “When we finally decided to get new music going, we booked an air bnb with a hot tub in Devon, turned it into a studio and spent the weekend writing, drinking wine, and chilling. This song was the first one we wrote, late at night, weirdly enough we were jamming some Jill Scott (the singer, not the footballer, but either way, slay) and this is what came out. Its working title was Hot Tub Time Machine, dedicated to our beloved warm and bubbly best mate for the weekend.”
