Gingerfeet – Make Your Stand (single)
19th March 2016I’ve been a huge fan of Indian funk-rockers Gingerfeet ever since I first reviewed their impressive debut album, High and Above: The First Wave, back in 2014. Last year they released the incredible single, ‘Empty Spaces’, and now they’re released a new single with their first ever official video.
So, the question is, does ‘Make Your Stand‘ live up to the high standards the band have been setting for themselves? Hell yeah!
‘Make Your Stand‘ is another awesome release from a band who aren’t afraid to keep pushing themselves as they develop and refine their sound. This is a deep, prog like track, with a real sense of emotional charge and an overwhelming message of positivity. The music is both funky and rocky, with catchy and aggressive guitar riffs, soaring soundscapes and a feel good vibe that means you can’t help but put this on repeat play.

The video itself is impressive too – it’s profesionally shot, with some great camera work and visuals, and it all compliments the music perfectly.
Gingerfeet continue to create amazing music, and I will be following these guys as keenly as I can to see what they do next!
