Scheisse Minnelli – A Fifth Of Skatehoven EP

I’m a massive fan of German / Californian skatecore thrashpunkers Scheisse Minnelli, so I was super excited when the ever awesome Nic from Beanies Records got in touch and asked if I’d like to review their latest EP, ‘A Fifth Of Skatehoven‘ !

First up, is ‘Love It Or Leave It‘, a full-speed track of skate-or-die goodness guaranteed to get you up and slamming round the room like a thing possessed! It’s catchy as hell and I’ve had it stuck in my head since I first heard it. Check out the official video to see just how damn good this is –

Both ‘Unwell‘ and ‘Bedtime for Bonzo‘ are the perfect moshpit anthems – each providing a short sonic burst of crossover, with incredible guitar riffs and a relentless slamtastic assault on the senses!

Final track ‘A Fifth Of Skatehoven‘ is a fucked up cover of a track by an old composer you may have heard of, named Beethoven (!). It’s the perfect ending to this crazy EP, and it shows just how talented these guys are… it shouldn’t work, but it does!
