Absolva release new vinyl & confirm extensive tour schedule for 2024

4th January 2024 0 By Jon Deaux

Manchester (UK) hard rock / melodic metal band Absolva release their ‘Never A Good Day To Die’ album on glorious 180g double vinyl LP. Official release date 26th January 2024.

Originally released on CD & digital back in 2015, this has proved to be one of the band’s most celebrated albums, featuring firm fan favourites such as the title track with it’s infectious chorus & driving rhythm, ‘No Tomorrow’ & ‘All Alone’.

Says frontman Christopher Appleton… “These days we write specifically for the vinyl format but back in 2015 this obviously wasn’t as popular as it is now & wasn’t a viable option for us. Times have moved on though & we are now working through our catalogue to gradually bring everything up-to-date. As well as the songs, it’s great to see the artwork come to life & this album is a brilliant example. We only use the best quality pressing & print we can find, & are more than happy with the results”

Absolva are committed believers in promoting themselves in the live arena & have typically assembled a formidable schedule for 2024 with 51 shows by the end of May. These are mainly in Europe, including special guest positions with Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Elegant Weapons, Lords of Black & more), & also special guests with long-time collaborator Blaze Bayley (Iron Maiden, Wolfsbane).

Absolva line-up…
Christopher Appleton – lead vocals, lead guitar
Luke Appleton – lead guitar, backing vocals
Martin Mcnee – drums
Karl Schramm – bass, backing vocals
