Against Evil – Between The Hammer And The Anvil (single)

Indian metallers Against Evil are one of my favourite bands right now, playing impressive old school metal with a touch of something new and exciting.  I loved their debut album, Fatal Assault, and so was thrilled when vocalist Siri got in touch and asked if I’d like to review their new single.

‘Between The Hammer And The Anvil‘ is a cover of the Judas Priest classic (from their 1990 Painkiller album) and the guys in Against Evil have completely nailed it!  It’s a faithful cover of the original track, but manages to be even heavier and faster!

This is another impressive release from a band who are continuing to deliver some of the best metal around – outstanding !!
