Alice In Chains – New Video Released
15th April 2013
"The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here" is the greatly anticipated new album from the mighty Alice in Chains, scheduled to be released on 28th May 2013. The unmistakable bendy rifts do not disappoint. Fans everywhere are respecting how the remaining AIC members have evolved following the death of Front Man Layne Staley in 2002. Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell told Rolling Stone "The band is moving ahead in new territory that we haven't been to before, but we haven't lost our identity."
This Album follows "Black Gives Way To Blue" released in 2009, the first album to be released with William Duvall taking the vocals. Layne Staley had a real pain in his voice and meant every word he sang. Duvall has stayed true to the AIC sound and his dulcet tones respect the work of his predecessor, while showcasing his own amazing talent.
The first track on the Album "Hollow" has already rocked the charts with a No.1 hit for the Band and the new single "Stone" is set to do just as well, with one fan describing it as "Miles above Hollow".
The title track "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here" has been described by Cantrell as "What I've seen is the most basic message to most faith systems is in contradiction with how it gets applied . . . It always amazes me that some of the most hateful and hurtful things are done in the name of some sort of belief system." – talking about the beliefs of some organised religions.
