AMARANTHE + BEYOND THE BLACK POSTPONE EUROPEAN TOUR UNTIL AUTUMN 2022 + ANNOUNCE SUPPORT ACTS

7th December 2021 0 By Jon Deaux

International modern metal acts Amaranthe and Beyond The Black have revealed some news today – sadly they have had to postpone their joint European venture once again. The European co-headline tour, featuring two UK dates, will now take place in autumn 2022. Together with the new dates Amaranthe and Beyond The Black are proud to announce their wonderful support acts, which will be US heavy metal band Butcher Babies and Swiss symphonic metal band Ad Infinitum.

Beyond The Black stated:
“On the one hand, we must announce that our European co-headline tour with Amaranthe cannot take place at the beginning of 2022. We had hoped for it to happen and are very frustrated with the overall situation. On the other hand, we have found replacements for all concert dates and will not only postpone the tour, but can thank all fans for waiting a little longer by adding not only one, but two amazing bands to the tour billing today: welcome Butcher Babies and Ad Infinitum!“

Amaranthe also stated:
“It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our European tour once again has to be moved. Such is the reality of the ongoing COVID situation, but let’s cross our fingers that this is the last time EVER we need to move a tour! It is not all doom and gloom however, since we are very happy indeed about the line-up of bands who will join us next fall! Beyond the Black, Butcher Babies and Ad Infinitum are all fantastic bands and great friends too, so we could not be more excited about that! See you ALL in fall 2022!”

Tickets remain valid for the new dates. For refunds, please contact your ticket seller.

Amaranthe have spent the last decade establishing themselves as a formidable, positive and fervently melodic force for metallic good. From their explosive self-titled debut in 2011 to the more sophisticated, streamlined likes of 2014’s Massive Addictive and its immaculate follow-up Maximalism (2016), Amaranthe have masterfully blurred the lines between melodic metal, crushing brutality, cinematic sweep and futuristic sparkle. Led by the endlessly ingenious songwriting of guitarist Olof Mörck and powerhouse vocalist Elize Ryd, their rise to prominence has been a joy to behold.
