27th March 2024US singer-songwriter Amigo the Devil (aka Danny Kiranos) has announced a July UK & RoI tour with his band to promote ‘Yours Until The War Is Over’, his highly acclaimed third studio album. Released in late February, the record has received a swathe of accolades and drawn comparison to Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, and other master storytellers with a set of songs that serve as cinematic vignettes threading together stories of the human condition, trauma bonding and the method of using relationships for survival. All heart, with no boundaries, is an album to be experienced from beginning to end to recognize the perspective it offers.

ONCE UPON A TIME AT TEXACO Pt. 1 video
The album title is a reference to the love affair between Ernest Hemingway and his nurse Agnes von Kurowsky in the closing months of World War I, a (trauma) bond that developed after the future novelist was severely wounded in Italy just after becoming a Red Cross volunteer at the age of 18. She would sometimes end her love letters by writing “Yours until the war is over,” a sign-off that proved prophetic. Her ultimate rejection devastated and scarred him thereafter.
Having just completed a US tour with Flogging Molly, Danny & co. fly to Australia and New Zealand in mid-April to play fourteen dates. They return to the US for further shows with Frank Turner in May and June before heading to the UK.
