ARMORED SAINT Enlists BEHOLD! THE MONOLITH Guitarist Matt Price for German Festival Dates
26th July 2016Guitarist Matt Price of Los Angeles stoner/doom metal band BEHOLD! THE MONOLITH has been tapped by ARMORED SAINT to fill in for guitarist Phil Sandoval on three German Festival dates this week. ARMORED SAINT released the following statement on its Facebook page about the temporary replacement:
“We’re sorry to report that our own Phil Sandoval will not be joining us on our European tour next week. He has chosen to stay home and be with his girlfriend while they expect their first child together which is due during this time. We have enlisted the help of guitarist Matt Price from Behold! The Monolith to step up and fill in for Phil for these 3 festivals in Germany. Phil will miss seeing all of you this time but he promises to ‘Deliver’ once he returns for the dates we have booked in the fall. Please help us wish Phil and his girlfriend a positive and safe delivery. Thank you!”

Architects of the Void follows critically acclaimed 2012 release Defender, Redeemist and
marks the debut of vocalist Jordan Nalley who took the reigns following the tragic 2013 death of Kevin McDade in a car accident. The album will also be the first for new bassist Jason “Cas” Casanova (SASQUATCH). The album artwork was created by Dusty Peterson (Bloodbath, Six Feet Under, Oceano).
