Atreyu – The Beautiful Life Of Dark Journey.

The final part of the lead up to The Beautiful Life Of Dark by Atreyu was released on the 3rd November entitled  ‘A Torch In The Dark’ EP. ‘A Torch In The Dark’ radiates emotion and going into depth about self-discovery, finding your reason and purpose alongside seeking to find out what your future is to bring, you can really feel the emotion that Brandon Saller has put into his vocal work and choice of lyrics. It’s truly, heartwarming.

Notable songs in the ‘The Beautiful Dark of Life’ journey so far are “Forevermore”, “Drowning” and “Come Down”. I’d even go so far as to say “Come Down” dabbles in some industrial-sounding elements to the song which was truly a treat.

 

Atreyu released an official video giving insight into what is expected to come in the future for the track “Gone”.

 

Atreyu’s current member line up consists of Dan Jacobs,  Brandon Saller,  Travis Miguel, Marc McKnight and Kyle Rosa. Atreyu has always had a soft spot in my heart and is one of those bands you listened to in your ‘teen era’ and will always have “Bleeding Mascara” and “Right Side of the Bed” in my playlist, even to this day!

Atreyu’s music has always been infused with emotional lyrics, sweeping rifts, and dramatical guitar solos that will give you goosebumps. 

Atreyu’s The Beautiful Dark of Life album is due to be released in December via Spinefarm.
